Obstacles of IT in Educational Practices
Even though information technology is pretty much helpful to many countries nowadays, it still has disadvantages or obstacles that an individual faces.Some of these are:
* Accessibility of the website
Some schools like in Berllingham school,they has this problem in accessing their districts' web pages. It was first created in Microsoft Word,then saved in HTML, but when they want to access the web again,they find difficulty in the accessibility of the pages.
* Online Teaching VS Traditional Teaching
Online teaching is now a trend in this new world of technology, however it lessens the importance of the teachers and the schools aura. It maybe the choice of many students who don't want to have themselves being on school,but it still contradicts the proper and traditional way of teaching. It also neglects those people who cant afford in indulging themselves in that kind of learning.
According also to some faculties,teaching online are more difficult than teaching traditional courses as well online delivery were more labor intensive because of the amount of time required to grade papers and respond to questions of the students.
* Increase in Financial Burden
We all know that when we deal with technology, it connects with money.So when we don't have enough budget to indulge in the new trend of technology, we cant really update ourselves in the new trend of technology that is very much increasing.
* Reduction in Time for Reading Written Material
Written materials are already dump because of the internet access that an individual can easily get, so written materials has lessen its importance.
* Reliability of the Information Given in the Website
Majority agrees that we can easily get information from the internet, but we are not sure if that information given was really reliable or not. That's why we can't really trust or depend all our answers on the information that the websites give on us.

Information and Communication Technology
There are lots of countries nowadays that are really on top based on their information and communication technology. One of these countries is the New Zealand. They has the world's highest access to telecommunications per capita, with the cost of accessing the Internet being almost as low as it is in the United States. They are usually quick to embrace new technology and going online at an internationally impressive rate. Thats why they can know lots of information easily and they can improve there ICT's accordingly.
Another country is Australia that has also become a pioneer in using ICT for educational purposes. With its vast territories and dispersed population has long been known for its successful distance education programmes to provide education to those who live in remote places in the outback.They really bear in their mind that when students leave school, they should…….be confident, creative and productive users of new technologies, particularly information and communication technologies, and understand the impact of those technologies on society, thats why their students has a knowledge in the new trend of technology.
Singapore is also a successful country based on their information and communication technology. They strive to overcome the need of the 21st century to produce a successful ICT. They train their teachers to really have a knowledge about information and communication technology for them to inculcate their learning to their students.
There are still lots of countries that are successful in the field of information and communication technology but as a whole, those different countries has a successful plan in their information and communication technology that our country, Philippines, must also acquire to make our country more progressive in comes to ICT's. Our country , especially the government must also focus their attention on important aspects like making education as a priority. Students even in the elementary must have the knowledge about using the computers properly and on how to increase their knowledge about it. By these, our country can compete to other progressive country.
